Supplying a PDF
Momento Pro members may submit page and cover designs using the Pro version of our software or by creating compatible PDFs in a range of other applications (Mac or Windows). This page provides an overview of how to create PDF files to our print specifications. We recommend that you print this page and the page related to your chosen software (below) for future reference.
The steps
- Create your layouts in your chosen design software
- Export as a single PDF file that meets our specification
- Upload the PDF by logging in to the Momento Pro website
- You will receive a questionnaire by email: answer the questions by reply email
- We will add your upload to your account and notify you by email when you can order
PDF Requirements
- Pages must be supplied as a single PDF file
-
Cover designs must be submitted as a separate single PDF file.
Note: you will only be able to order covers at the sizes you provide - Images must be flattened. No image transparency or effects should be included in your PDF.
- Files must include a margin for bleed and a gutter for binding as per the specifications
- Any fonts must be embedded in the PDF
-
Images and the final PDF must be saved as Adobe RGB. Do not use CMYK.
Note: choosing the incorrect colour space or profile will result in inaccurate printed colours - Always work with a calibrated and profiled monitor. Refer to our Colour Management page for details
Terms
- We don't accept files other than a single PDF each for the pages and each cover
- We won't proceed with PDFs that don't match our specifications
- We don't commence work on your file until the questionnaire email is answered
- We charge a nominal file handling fee to print from PDF
- We charge additional file editing fees for any alterations (quoted prior to work)
- We take no responsibility for errors in your PDF files
